Elder Abuse Problems

The elderly may be collected and used among others by family members, conservators, guardians, trustees, beneficiary’s representative, financial planners, lawyers and friends. When friends or family members to visit or contact with the elderly person will be denied, it could be something to fear. Moreover, if the former is not able to speak freely and without supervision person, it can give you cause for concern. Financial abuse is made of theft or misappropriation of funds or other property of an elderly person. It can be as low as cash from a victim of purse or wallet, and as treacherous and cunning as to turn the property of the victim to the aggressor.

The elderly are vulnerable to all forms of abuse because of their nature fragile and vulnerable. Elder abuse can happen at home, in a nursing home, an extended form of life or other senior care facility. Because of their known vulnerabilities, it may be particularly vulnerable to exploitation and financial systems of identity theft. The same people who commit these crimes are usually the elderly against those close to them and have the opportunity to enjoy them.
